Whitsunday Cup 2025 Wrap-Up — Footy for Fun in Paradise!
Hot weather. Hot footy. Hot vibes.
That pretty much sums up the 2025 Whitsunday Cup! 🏉
It was a scorcher of a weekend, but that didn’t stop the incredible teams, referees, and supporters who brought the heat (literally and figuratively!) to Club Whitsunday Sports Park for another unforgettable Cup.
From our youngest juniors to our seasoned senior teams, the footy was fast, fun, and full of heart. Huge congrats to all our finalists and winners — and to everyone who gave their all out there, you made it an awesome day of footy for fun in paradise!
We loved seeing the slip-and-slide in full swing, the chill zones, the misting tent busy, and the after-party rolling at Paddy’s 🍻. You guys truly made the day what it was — community spirit at its best.
A Massive Thank You
To every player, manager, referee, volunteer, sponsor, and supporter — thank you.
We know it was HOT, but your energy, smiles, and sportsmanship never faded. The refs in particular — absolute legends. You powered through the heat and made sure every game ran smoothly. We see you, and we appreciate you! 🙌
What’s Next — Bring on 2026!
We’re already planning for an even bigger and better Whitsunday Cup next year!
We’ve been chatting with Sport & Recreation about ways to get more shade over the grandstand, and we’ve already purchased extra gazebos and more misting tents to keep everyone cooler next year.

— One big day of competition, done and dusted so you can enjoy your Sunday in paradise
