WET WEATHER
Wet Weather Update:
Whitsunday’s Sportspark venue is currently OPEN.
Wet Weather Policy
In the event of storms and heavy rain Whitsunday Touch inspects the grounds and will make an announcement via their Facebook if the fields are CLOSED or OPEN with an announcement by 3pm on Mondays.
We will always aim to provide as much notice as possible however sometimes the situation or weather may change closer to kick-off.
In the event of storms during games, Whitsunday Touch Officials will make a decision regarding ending, pausing or delaying games when player safety is in question (lightning, water-logged fields, torrential downpour etc).
General Weather Guidelines:
Whitsunday Touch will play through light and moderate rain. Games may be rescheduled depending on several factors including heavy rain, the state of fields and lightning overhead.
