WHITSUNDAY CUP GOES INTERNATIONAL!
Hot Weather, Hot Footy, and Hot Vibes in Paradise
Wow — what a weekend for the Whitsunday Cup 2025!
It was hot, hot, hot — scorching weather and even hotter footy — and for the first time ever, the Cup went international with four New Zealand players joining the action!
The Whitsundays came alive with teams from across Queensland — and beyond — putting on a huge day of touch footy, fun, and community spirit.
For those who stuck around to watch the Open Competitive Grand Final, they were treated to an absolute thriller — try for try, right down to the drop-offs. It doesn’t get much better than that in the Whitsundays!
To help beat the heat, the Whitsunday Touch crew set up slip-and-slides, misting tents, and shaded team zones to keep everyone cool under the tropical sun.
